Frequently Asked Question

My printer is showing as offline. How can I fix it?
Last Updated 3 days ago

If your printer appears offline or your computer cannot communicate with it, follow these troubleshooting steps:

  1. Check the printer's power. Make sure the printer is switched on and does not display a critical error.
  2. Check the connection. For USB printers, ensure the cable is firmly connected. For network printers, verify that the printer is connected to the correct network.
  3. Check the selected printer. Confirm that you are sending the print job to the correct printer.
  4. Check the print queue. Open your computer's printer settings and look for paused jobs or documents that are stuck in the queue.
  5. Restart the printer. Switch it off, wait briefly, and turn it back on. Restart your computer if necessary.
  6. Check network connectivity. For network printers, confirm that the computer and printer can communicate over the network.

If the printer remains offline, contact Technical Support for further assistance.

When submitting a support request, provide the printer brand and model, connection type, displayed error message, and whether other computers can print successfully.
