Frequently Asked Question
My printer is printing blank pages. What should I do?
Last Updated 3 days ago
If your printer produces blank pages, the issue may involve low or empty consumables, print settings, clogged printheads, or a hardware problem.
Try these steps:
- Check the ink or toner levels using the printer's display or software.
- Confirm that the correct paper and print settings are selected.
- If using a new cartridge, check that all required protective seals have been removed according to the manufacturer's instructions.
- For inkjet printers, use the manufacturer's approved printhead cleaning utility if necessary.
- Print a test page or nozzle-check pattern using the printer's built-in maintenance function, if available.
Avoid repeatedly running printhead cleaning cycles because they can consume significant ink.
If the printer continues producing blank pages, contact Technical Support.
Provide the printer model, cartridge or toner type, and whether the problem began after replacing a consumable.
