Follow these steps:
- Check the ink or toner level.
- Confirm that the paper type selected in the print settings matches the paper being used.
- Print a test page to determine whether the issue affects all documents.
- For inkjet printers, run the manufacturer's recommended nozzle check or printhead cleaning procedure.
- For laser printers, follow the manufacturer's instructions for checking the toner cartridge and maintenance indicators.
Do not touch sensitive imaging components or attempt to dismantle the printer unless instructed by an authorized technician.
